The purpose of this website is to collect and share genealogical, historic, and photographic information about the individuals listed below.

  • George Lewis Osten (1845 – 1913) and Henrietta Meyer (1853 – 1931)
  • George Lewis Osten went by Lewis/Louis, and was known to have been from Germany, and lived in Missouri and Oklahoma.
  • Henrietta Maria Meier (sometimes listed as Meyer) was from the Borger Creek area of Missouri. At least one of her siblings lived in Oklahoma near Henrietta (and Henrietta died in Stillwater, Payne, Oklahoma).
  • George and Henrietta were married 22 Apr 1879 in Logan, Illinois, USA
  • Most of their children were born in the Saratoga Springs area of Missouri
  • George and Henrietta eventually homesteaded in the Sumner, Noble County, Oklahoma area.

  • Frank George Osten (31 May 1887 – Saratoga, Missouri) (twin brother of Louis Henry)
  • Henrietta Mary Osten (24 Jan 1894 – Saratoga, Missouri)
  • Flora Johanne Osten (29 Jul 1896 – Saratoga, Missouri)
